Black River Granite — A Bold Natural Statement
Black River Granite brings a deep black palette and expressive grey mineral patterns to stone surfaces. The slab shown in our product photograph combines broad dark areas with flowing, irregular markings, giving the material a strong visual presence. Rather than treating the stone as a perfectly uniform black surface, plan your design around the character of the individual slab.
Colour, Movement & Slab Selection
The contrast between dark areas and lighter markings can create a focal point on an island, wall panel or reception counter. Pair the stone with light cabinetry for contrast, warm wood for balance, or metal details for a sharper look. Before fabrication, review photographs of the available slabs and agree on the cutting layout, especially where a prominent marking will cross an edge, joint or opening.
Surface Finish Options
Our current product listing includes polished, flamed, honed and leathered finishes. A polished surface offers a reflective appearance; honed and textured finishes produce a different visual and tactile effect. Ask for a sample of the proposed finish rather than judging it from the polished slab photograph alone. Finish availability should be confirmed for the selected material and order.
